MY JOURNEY INTO HOLISTIC PRACTICES
I, Katie, trained at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Master Level Program for Physical Therapy.
I have been working as a Physical Therapist for the last 15 years with people of all ages in all stages of health.

I use hands-on and energy healing to compliment the mechanical approach of PT.
I always joke, Yoga Heals Everything.. but for me, it has!

I became hooked on yoga in 2005 at the end of my Physical Therapy training because it FIXED 15 years of chronic BACK pain PLUS improved my mental health.
So, I immediately started weaving it into my work with internship patients and found the simple act of adding breath into movement during stretches (often painful after new surgeries) and exercises, they could control the amount of pain more easily.

Yoga opened my eyes into what was possible along with a few other AMAZING experiences I had living in Arizona including meeting and learning the art of healing from John F Barnes PT, Myofascial Release teacher, and Noah, my Reiki coach and teacher.
I offer this gentle hands-on approach to therapy which clients find both healing and comforting.

I am the only Physical Therapist in Northwest Wisconsin who has completed the extensive training to hold this Expert designation.

I also had special training in Women's Health through John F. Barnes, PT Myofascial Release Seminars.
I have been drawn to spine care and women's health many times over my life and every time I stepped away, an event has called to my soul to guide me gently back.

I worked for the Barrow Neurosurgeons in Phoenix, helping people with back pain
and I have specialized training in hands-on Pelvic Floorwork, breastwork, and am studying Womb work.

I come to this work humbly after healing from my own traumas and am always honored to assist each woman to heal her own pain.
